The Saints’ are delighted to announce Captain, Steven Travers & Vice Captain, Grant Munro have signed contract extensions with the club.
The boss was delighted to tie the pair down after the goal scoring midfielders played their part in getting the club back into the superleague.
Sometimes the best business you do in the summer is keeping your players. They’re both a big part of my plans here so we’re all delighted. After the disappointment of relegation this time last year it would have been easy for them to go elsewhere but we’re all glad they chose to stay and help us bounce straight back up. I was well aware of the importance of that as the longer you’re in the first division, the harder it is to get out of as players start to move on when Superleague offers come in. They’re both the type of players we need here to make sure Banchory remains a competitive SuperLeague team in the future.

Grant had this to say on signing his new 2 year deal.
Signing a new deal at Saints was a no brainer. The club is heading in the right direction both on and off the field and i want to help it progress. Gaffer gets the best out of me and all the lads are brand new. Hopefully more trophies to come this season!

I’m delighted to sign a 3 year extension with the club. I’m fully set on finishing my playing career at Banchory St Ternan while doing my coaching badges and then joining Ewan’s management team.
